Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. She was able to survive on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. While in the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied by her performance when compared with her peers and was contemplating a different path she might follow. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976, when she joined the band Dragons Playground. But she quit when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. She was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox began working on her first solo album Diva that came out in 1992. It was a huge success both commercially and critically. Nostalgia Lennoxs Sixth Solo Album was Released on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in the month of May, 2019. The E.P. The album is a companion to her Now I let you go... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independent album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. After a brief recognition as part of the band called The Tourists in the late 1970s, she and her fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to be recognized as the duo known as Eurythmics in the 1980s. In 1992 Lennox launched a solo career, releasing the release of her first album Diva which yielded numerous successful tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa the studio album, which was which was released in 1995, features songs that are re-imagined from her most popular songs including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has released six solo studio albums and compilation albums.
